Job description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our food manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring of staff across various departments.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and career development.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance and support to managers in evaluating employee performance and setting goals.
  • Policy Development: Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and industry standards related to food manufacturing.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Workforce Planning: Analyze staffing needs and develop strategies to ensure adequate workforce levels to meet production demands.
Job requirements:

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the food manufacturing industry or a similar environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HR software and systems for managing employee records and performance.

Working Conditions
