Job description:

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical systems and processes related to sock manufacturing. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, efficiency, and innovation in sock design and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development:
    • Create and refine mechanical designs for sock manufacturing equipment.
    • Develop prototypes and conduct testing to evaluate performance and durability.
  • Process Optimization:
    • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement engineering solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with product designers, textile engineers, and production teams.
    • Provide technical support and guidance during the production phase.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Establish and monitor quality control measures to ensure product standards are met.
    • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead engineering projects from conception through to completion.
    • Prepare documentation and reports on project progress and outcomes.
Job requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in textile or apparel manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and engineering simulation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
